It has been 3-1/2 years since I last posted here. I don't know if anybody will even read this. However, I feel what I put here is an important coda to everything else you can find at this address.
The Boston Bombers won their second championship on September 12, 2021. I was a proud part of it as a coach. Great group of guys who, despite my not actually playing, made me feel welcomed, a part of the team, and worthwhile. Thank you, guys.
Here are some photos of the victory. And, with them, comes my official announcement that I am concluding my association with the Bombers. I have been part of the team since the 1995 season, the original season in the Phoenix league. This 2021 season was my 25th full season associated with the club (due to my problems from a stroke and heart surgery, I missed more parts of 2019 and 2020 than I was part of, I think.) Anyway, it's time to go. The Bombers are in good hands and will carry on very nicely without my help. Thank you to every person who ever played for us.
I might stop by some Sunday, maybe for the next championship final. Have fun!
